I love Daniel :)

So a lot of great things have happened since the year happened; here are a few of them :)

We saw the most amazing sun set on our way to visit Frank and Stacee a couple weeks ago. Then we had a blast with them. We ended up staying an extra day, we just couldn't bring ourselves to leave :)
While we were there we got to play with our favorite cat, Boo. We call him Panther though because he is just about the biggest cat we've ever seen. And not the fat kind of big (although he used to be really fat) he's really just big. When he stretches out his body is so long its rediculous. I'm trying to describe him so well because the pictures just don't do him justice... and in the pictures he doesn't like us, but in real life he does :)

Last weekend Daniel had to work three nights in a row, Friday, Saturday, Sunday, so Sunday afternoon after church Daniel said he just wanted to find a dark corner and sleep till work. Well, we just took down the blankets that covered the windows in our bedroom, so it wasn't dark at all, so Daniel cleared our our little coat closet and slept in there.

Today Daniel took a Chemistry test, and those take a long time, so I had to walk home by my self after my classes got out. It was 5 when I was finally done with class, and while I was walking home I was sad that Daniel was still in the testing center, and I thought to myself, 'man, one of these times that Daniel takes a long test I'd love for him to actually get done early, go home, and surprise me.' Little did I know that's exactlly what he did :) He knows me so well. He's wonderful :)

When we were visiting Frank and Stacee a couple weeks ago their daughter Lucy gave us a mango seed that she had put in a pot with dirt. I thought it was kind of funny because I never plant the seeds of the fruit I'm eating, but now I'm really glad she gave it to us because it has sprouted :) We're so excited for our Mango plant. Thank you Lucy.

I have a couple more things to mention, but there are no pictures to go along with them. Tuesday I gave Daniel a hair cut, and then Daniel gave me a hair cut :) I had cut Daniel's hair a couple of times before, but Daniel has never cut mine. He did great :) Daniel and I bought some banana's a while ago, and never ate them, and finally they got to a point were we said 'ooh, lets not eat them for a little bit longer, and then lets make bananna bread.' That's what we did today after Daniel's wonderful surprise. :)

  1. I love making banana bread from rotten bananas! If you put them in the freezer they'll turn black a lot quicker! Although then you have to put them in an open gallon-sized bag to microwave them and they're all ick when they're done.

I can't believe you guys cut each others' hair!! How brave of you both! I could never do that! Well, actually i've trimmed Mitch's around the edges before, but that was with clippers and a guard, so a 4 year-old could've done it!
