General Conference, Meadow and Daniel's Birthday

Daniel and I took Daniel and Peter down to Meadow for General Conference weekend. After the first Saturday session we went to the lava tubes. We had a lot of fun. Daniel and Peter stood in the back of Daniel's truck and had fun holding on for dear life :p We found a big tube and built a fire and roasted hot dogs. Then we drove around and just kept burning stuff. On our way back to Meadow we hit a sand storm and Daniel lost the road... oh what troubles. We ended up missing the afternoon session.

On Sunday we watched conference, both sessions this time. In between sessions Merilyn made us dinner, and Marla made a cake for Daniel's birthday :)

Today, April 2, 2012, is Daniel's 24th birthday :) I had class in the morning, but when I got back we went to Walmart to get a new belt for our vacuum (finally! we've been without a vacuum for almost a month!... yucky carpets). Then we went to Tucanos, like we do every year for Daniel's birthday :) Then we tried to visit Daniel's brother, Stan, but no one was home. We saw his daughter, Ashley, leaving for her internship, but she said no one else was home. Bummer. Now Daniel and I are playing with his new birthday toys :) We both have work and internship off, so we are looking forward to a relaxing evening.
