Crazy Day!

Today has been a totally crazy day!

This morning Daniel left at about 645 to go work with his nephew joshua (made $100!! :]). While he was gone I cleaned the dishes, did laundry and so forth. I also got online to look at jobs on the BYU website- I do this every day. There was a new custodial job available from 9pm-1am M-F and it paid pretty well. So I gave them a call and set up an interview for about an hour later. I was still in my pajamas, so I rushed to get ready, and I walked to my interview. It was sprinkeling a little bit on the way. I had my interview and it went great, I was told that if I got all my paperwork filled out at BYU employment, that I could have a job. I was excited. I also set up an interview for Daniel (I had called him earlier and asked him if he wanted me to). So I walked home and got home just as Daniel was getting home from yard work. He got ready, and we went to his interview. Now is where it gets crazy. I drove Daniel up to campus because it had started to really rain, but I couldn't find parking ANYWHERE because of education week, so I went back home, and walked back up to campus to meet Daniel. It was pooring by now, so even though I brought umbrellas (one for me one for daniel) I was still totally wet. By the time I got to Daniel he was done with his interview, and he had been offered the job as well :) So we then walked to the custodial office in the pooring rain to fill our forms. Then we walked to the Wilk to the student employment office to fill out some forms, then we walked home. We were so wet and had been doing so much walking!! It was crazy!

I had been in the middle of doing laundry when I suddenly left for my interview, so when we got back I did some more laundry. One trip down to the laundry room Daniel decided to make cookies (we made cookie dough the night before). When I got back I found Daniel sitting on the floor with blood all over himself. He had been cutting the cookie dough, and the knife had slipped and slit his foot open! The blood was nasty! We got him out of the kitchen and into the bathroom to get it cleaned up, and yay lucky me, while he was cleaning up his foot I got to clean the bloody kitchen! Yuck! Anyone who knows me knows that I don't handel blood well. Then Daniel asked me to go find some super glue because he wanted to glue the wound together. So I went to all of our neighboors to ask for glue, but NO ONE WAS HOME! We must be the only lame people who don't go anywhere during the day :p So then I went to Smiths to get some super glue.

After Daniel got his foot all fixed up and it was looking and feeling a lot better we decided to go to Wilsons Diamonds to get my wedding ring- we sent it in to get the wedding band soldered to the engagement ring, and they called me earlier today to tell me it was done. When I got my ring Daniel and I were back in the car, and Daniel was looking at my ring, then he dropped it, and it fell under my seat! We then spent a while trying to get my ring out.

By the time we got home I was totally poop. We're now watching our second movie for the night. It's been a long day, but yay, we both have jobs, and we get to work together! :) We start on Monday.
