Grandma Pat Toborg

Today was my Grandma Pat's funeral.

Her funeral was beautiful. Both my dad, and his brother, Uncle Russ, talked about her life, and I learned so much about her, a lot of it I knew, but only from over hearing things, I had never been told Grandma's life story.

She was a very dedicated, hard worker, who got the job done. She was baptized as a member of the church at age 8, but her parents weren't active, so she didn't really learn about the chruch until her son, my Uncle Russ, found the chruch again. She was about 36 then. After she married my Grandpa Tom (her second marriage) she wanted kids, and she made a promise to the Lord that if she was able to have a child that she would raise him in the gospel. That's when she had my dad. She loved to garden and she always had the most beautiful flowers infront of her house.

She was a wonderful woman, and I will forever love her.
