The Last Hours of 2010, and Looking Back

It is December 31st, 2010, 8:44 pm in Utah, Mountain Time Zone. Daniel is at work, I am sitting at home alone, and the year is coming to an end. Now, it's time to look back on how wonderful 2010 was.

*Flashback*

January: Daniel and I had been together for 2 months, and by the end of the month I knew I loved him and wanted to marry him. February: By Valentines Day Daniel and I had talked about getting married and by the end of the month we had started ring shopping. March: The first day of spring, the 20th, Daniel proposed to me after a wonderful day long date. April: Winter semester ended and Daniel and I drove to WA so that Daniel could meet my siblings for the first time. May: Daniel drove from UT, and I drove from WA to meet half way in ID to spend a couple of days together over the summer. June: I turned 20 at the end of the month, which was my condition for marriage. July: Daniel and I were married on the 9th. We honeymooned at Cascade Lake in ID for a week. August: Daniel and I had our UT open house, so I got to see my family again. Daniel and I had know eachother for a year. September: Daniel and I started our first semester together as a married couple. Daniel got a job as a PCA (Patient Care Assistent) at the Hospital two blocks from our apartment, and I got a job as a night time custodian on campus. October: Daniel and I went down to Meadow every other weekend because we love family and can't stay away for too long. November: Daniel's sister Amber married Chris Huntington other Thanksgiving break, and Daniel and I spent a couple days with Frank, Daniel's brother, and Stacee, Frank's wife, and have found wonderful friends in them. December: Fall semester ended, finally, Daniel was scheduled to work Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, and the day after Christmas, but he got to go home earlly Christmas Eve, and he got put on call on Christmas, so he didn't have to work.

This whole year has been filled with Daniel, and I love him so much! This has been a very hard year, but also a good year. I am so happy to be with Daniel, and so happy for the future together that 2011 is bringing us.

Things I think about:

Daniel works 8 1/2 hours a day three times a week, and I have decided that it is time for me to find a hobby or something. I don't have anything to do while he's at work. Maybe it will be easier when school starts again and I have school work to take care of.

I love my family so much. I think of them every day and always have a hard time being away from them. My Dad was staying in Sandy for a while because he had a job there, and he and I got to spend a lot of time together. I am so grateful for that time because I feel like we have gotten so much closer since then. I love calling my mom all the time, but now a days my days are all the same, and I don't really have much to talk to her about, but really, I just love being on the phone with her :) My sister has a cell phone but still hasn't texted me... I think she's mad at me for getting married and leaving her, but mom says she'll be ok in a while. I don't really talk to Daniel while I'm at school, but I sure love hanging with him while I'm home, so I'll be glad when he's here at BYU.

I miss my family and wish that I could see them more often, but I am so so grateful to have Daniel's family to go to when I miss my family in WA. I am grateful to have Shelly and her family just 15 minutes away who has given us an open invitation to come over when ever we want company. I'm grateful to have Marla and her husband and fun daugthers to spend time with when we go to Meadow to visit Daniel's wonderful parents. I'm grateful to have Deana and her family up in Boise who we get to spend time with when we are driving back and forth from WA. I am grateful for Frank, Stacee and their three children who are all a perfect match for Daniel and me. I am grateful for all of Daniel's sibblings because they all make me happy and feel loved. Daniel has 11 sibblings. I am so impressed with his parents and the fact that they were able to raise 12 wonderful children, all of who I get along with and love.

It is now 10:51. (I've been doing dishes and cleaning the apartment in between paragraphs) 2010 is coming to a close. I'm going to visit Daniel at work soon that way I can be with him for the new year. Maybe get my first midnight New Years kiss :) we'll see how busy he is :)

Welcome 2011! :)
