We both had 5 finals, and took them all monday tuesday and wednesday, then went down to Meadow right after Daniel's scheduled final at 230, to go to Heidi Thurmans baptism at 6 :) It was a wonderful baptism, and it was also Heidi's birthday, so we went back to the house for a party with the family. She had a cake that was like a wedding cake! The Freeman's know a couple of people who do professional wedding cakes :)
Then Daniel and I spent thursday and friday with his family. It was nice to have a break from life :) During that time, Daniel was gone a lot, so I spent a lot of time with his mom which was kind of nice :) Then on thursday Daniel revealed what he had been doing for most of the time. He made an amazing backdrop for our nativity set. It is so beautiful and I love it so much!
I love the backdrop, and Daniel even made it so that you can take it apart and store it. I love it so much! I seriouslly sometimes just look at it :)
Now Daniel and I are back in Provo because he worked yesterday and today. Now we're going to enjoy being home together :) We want to paint our kitchen, and do a puzzel, and just relax. It's going to be a great break :)
how cool! Can I tell you how jealous I am that you get to paint in your apartment!? If I could only jazz up our sterile white walls...they're so bland it's insane. Then you have to ask yourself if you're putting too much on the walls to balance out the white, etc. I can't wait to get to paint one day!
ReplyDeleteI just love the backdrop! How sweet! We bought our first little nativity set this year! I love it :o) My mom had over 200 nativities, so only having one seems a bit strange! :o)
