Daniel's Birthday

The weekend of General Conference, April 2nd and April 3rd, was also Daniel's birthday weekend, April 2nd.

Friday April 1st I decorated our apartment a little and set out his birthday gifts. We celebrated by opening presents and going down to Meadow (no i did not forget to mention going to school- remember, we were celebrating). When we got down to Meadow we talked for a while, we hadn't been down to meadow in a few months. Then we got Daniel's truck (he loves his truck) and drove around the mountains, he's missed that. Then we actually went exploring on foot. I've never done that before, and it was really fun to follow Daniel around while he went looking for the old huts that he'd made a long time ago :) That evening Deana and her family came into town, they'd been on vacation and were on their way home. Marla and her familiy just bought a new house in Meadow, so Marla took Deana and Me to look at it. It's really beet up, but it's still beautiful. They're remodeling the house, and they've got a lot of projects to work on. They're hoping to move in in like a month I think. I really like her house.

The next day was Saturday, Daniel's birthday. Daniel went running early in the morning. When he left i made the bed and put another present on his pillow before I went running. Then we watched conference at 10 and at 2. After the second session of conference Daniel and I went 4 wheeling. This was the first time that I'd been 4- wheeling completelly by my self. I've only gone one other time, and Daniel drove most of the time. This was really fun! I was really freaked out at first, and didn't know how to get over some tough bumps and hills, but i eventually got the hang of it. It was really fun :) We got back right about with Frank and Stacee were getting into town, so naturally, that night we stayed up talking and playing games.

On Sunday we again watched conference at 10 and at 2. I made Daniel's birthday cake on sunday, I actually made two so that there would be enough for everyone. We had a really fun weekend. I wish I hadn't waited a week before blogging so I could remember more, but just know it was so much fun! :)
