The Y Ball

Two years ago in February Daniel and I knew we were in love and were going to get married. We weren't engaged yet, but I saw a sign for the Y Ball for all married and engaged couples at BYU and figured we were close enough. But Daniel decided to be gone that weekend, so we couldn't go :( Well I knew that the next year we would be married, so we would for sure qualify. Well, last year the Y Ball had been on my mind, so at the end of January I decided to look up when it was. It was on the same night that we were having family come stay the night. Well we couldn't just leave them alone at our apartment, that would be rude! So for the second year in a row my dreams were crushed and we didn't go. But NOT THIS YEAR! Last night Daniel and I went with my old roommates (who are all married or engaged) as a group to the Y Ball :) And it was everything that I hoped it would be! Our whole group got tickets early enough that we got to go to the dinner that they provided for some couples before the dance.

At the dance they had dancing, bingo, a magic show, an acrobat show, pictures, and food. The dinner started at 630, and we didn't leave the dance until 930.

Then, at 930, we went back to Chris and Kerri's apartment for games, and we stayed there till 1130! What a great night! :)
