Having Deric here has been so much fun!
Last night (Monday) Deric had a date with a girl names Carissa. We doubled with them, and went up to the park. We brought glow sticks tennis balls and golf clubs. We cut open the glow sticks and poured them all over the tennis balls. It was dark by the time we were doing this, so the tennis balls glowed in the dark, and it was so cool! We then played golf with the glow in the dark tennis balls. It was really cool, really fun, and sometimes really beautiful (sometimes when we hit the ball parts of the glow would spray off the balls and fly through the air).
Tonight Deric had a date with one of my co- workers, Karen. They went out to dinner together then joined us back at our apartment for games and dessert. For dessert we cut open and hollowed out an orange like you would a pumpkin, then filled it with cake batter, wrapped them in foil and baked them. They tasted Delicious!
I also made jello oranges! Cut an orange in half, hollow it out, fill with liquid jello then let the jello set. When it's done cut the oranges into slices. It tasted good but it was kind of weird eating jello off an orange.
I know this is a short post, but I'm so proud when I actually do things I find on pinterest!
