Freeman Family Reunion

Daniel, Deric, and I went back down to Meadow on Thursday to get to the Freeman Family Reunion a day early.

Friday was the first official day of the reunion. Everyone got together at Jim and Marilyn's house for dinner and games. By games I mean dodge ball!! That was pretty fun but wow, the Freemen men are not even easy on the children, we all got beat up really badly, and the team with the most men on it always seemed to win :p Daniel and I loved watching Deric and Kyle (Daniel's brother in law) play "Knight Mare" chess. We all stayed up late talking and watching the Olympics.

Saturday we went to Jenell's house for breakfast. Stan and Michelle made the breakfast, and it was amazing! Pancakes with the most delicious toppings! and eggs and sausage. Then Daniel, Deric and I went back to Jim and Marilyn's house to prepare our dutch oven potatoes and carrots. We played settlers to kill some time before we had to leave for dinner. Then we all went down to the Fremont Indian Museum and Park for dutch oven dinner. The dinner was so good! Then after dinner every sibling talked about what we've been up to and some families had their children do a talent.

This was the official end of the family reunion, but Sunday after church we all went over to Marilyn's for Sunday dinner, talking, games and the Olympics.

The family reunion was really fun and it was a great way to end our month of off and on being in Meadow.

Daniel, Deric and I came back to Provo Monday morning.
