Well, we were planning on going down to Meadow for the day of the 24th of July to enjoy the Pioneer Day celebrations, but the main reason was to go to Mary's baptism. Mary is Daniel's niece. Well, on Sunday we started getting antsy, so we decided to leave Monday afternoon assuming I could get work off.
On Monday I did get work off so we got down to Meadow by 2. When we got down to Meadow we found out that Daniel's brother, Deric, was going to be in Meadow for a couple of weeks. Deric is currently serving the army right now by flying helicopters in Korea, so it's really exciting when we get to see him. Well, because he was in town, we decided we wanted to stay longer than just for a day. So I asked for Wednesday off of work, and got it off. Then on Wednesday we just decided we wanted to stay all week.
So, like I said, Monday we got to Meadow and Tuesday was Mary's baptism.
Wednesday we stayed up all night playing games with Deric and Daniel's Mom Merilyn.
Thursday we went to lace curtains with Deric and again stayed up all night playing games.
Friday we went to a Rodeo with Deric, Bryanna, and the Thurman Family. It was the Butch Cassidy Days Rodeo, and it was my first rodeo.
Saturday we played fugitive with the Thurman girls.
Sunday was the Sabbath. Marylin invited all the family who live around Meadow over for a breakfast supper. We had waffles and eggs at like 8 in the evening, then Daniel and I stayed up till 1 in the morning playing settlers with Deric and Wylee (Bry's brother).
Monday morning Daniel and I got up at 445 in the morning and went swimming with Daniel's parents. They go every morning, and it was really fun to swim. When we got home we then went and played volley ball for 3 hours with Deric, Bry, Wylee, Marla and Kyle, Jenelle, and Emma. It was really fun and I'm glad I took a beginning volley ball class at BYU so I wasn't too bad. In the evening we played fugitive again, and then Daniel, Wylee and I played rummicube.
Tuesday morning (today) we went back up to provo :( we were sad to go, but I couldn't miss any more work, and actually Deric ended up coming to visit us today, so he's here now playing super Nintendo with Daniel. :)
