The last time I updated was August 2013, so about 6 months ago. At that time, Daniel had just moved to flagstaff for his park ranger training program. Connor and I were living in meadow at Daniels parents house. Rent was too much for all of us to afford in flagstaff, which is why we were apart. We visited each other every few weeks. Mostly Daniel came up to meadow, but once Connor and I went down to meadow. It was very fun. At the end of October Daniel came up for Halloween. He had three weeks left of his program, so we decided to move down with him. Daniel was living in a room in the house of a family. They were ok with me and Connor coming. The three of us slept in the same small room. It was hard, but it was worth it to be together.
I had an online math tutor job which was so perfect because I just worked during Connors nap. I got to work, Connor and I got to play and go on lots of walks, and we got to be together as a family :)
Daniel graduated from his program at the end of November, and we moved back to meadow. Then the job hunt began. Both Daniel and I started looking. I had a few different interviews, and ended up taking a job as a math teacher at highland junior high school in Ogden Utah.
We went to Washington for our first Christmas since my brother was on his two year mission for the church. We loves being in Washington. My parents loves Connor, and Connor loved them. It was great.
We moved to Ogden at the beginning of January. My job started in the middle of January. I am a double dose math teacher, which means that I am teaching students who need extra help with math, so I'm their second math teacher. I love being a teacher, and I love math. It has been great.
Daniel is a stay at home dad with Connor, and I love that Connor gets all that daddy time.
Daniel is looking for summer employment. In the fall we want me to reach again so Daniel can take an EMT class, which is the last thing he needs to be fully qualified.
We are happy. I love my job. I love Daniel and Connor.
