A Week in Meadow

Daniel had 5 days off of work, so we decided to spend them in Meadow :)

We got to Meadow Friday afternoon, and went camping with JD, Angela and Kayla that evening. When I say camping, I mean "camping". We took a couple of campers with us into the mountains. Built a fire, rosted hot dogs and marshmellows, then got in the campers and slept in beds :)

Saturday Daniel and I took the kids to the sand dunes and to the pool.
The kids all ganged up on Daniel, so he literally picked them up and threw them off the dunes
Daniel and the kids dug a hole so big that it fit everyone in it
Sunday we went to church at 9 in the morning, which we liked because we usually have church at 8:30, and Daniel has meetings at 7:00, so we got to sleep in a little bit :) That afternoon we got to help get ready for dinner with Jim and Marilyn, us, JD and Angela, and The Thurmans (Marla Thurman is Daniels sister, so even though they don't sound like freemans, they are) who just bought a house in Meadow :)

Monday we had a lazy day, which was really nice.

Tuesday Daniel spent the morning doing some weedeatting for his mom, then he and I spent the afternoon cleaning up Marla's green room. The house they just bought has a two story room that was built for trees and had a little pond and such. It used to be really beautiful, but the people who just sold the house never took care of it so it was just a mess. Everything was dead and covered in mold and just plain yucky. Daniel and I spent the afternoon cutting down dead stuff, and cleaning it all up, so now it just looks like a really tall room filled with packed dirt. We enjoyed being able to help Marla out :) We were planning on going home Tuesday afternoon, but we decided not to.

Wednesday we got up in the morning, visited JD and Angela, and the Thurmans to say bye, and we headed back up to Provo, and here we are now :)
