My Hillariouslly Awesome 21st Birthday!

On Wednesday, June 27, 1990 at 8:25 am (California time) I was born as Jessica Eve Toborg to Scott and Rebecca Toborg. Yay! Now, 21 years later, I turned 21 on Monday, June 27, 2011 at 9:25 (Utah time) as Jessica Eve Freeman, married to Daniel Paul Freeman. Today was an AWESOME day :)

At 6 this morning Daniel got up to go play basketball and I went running (like we do every Monday, Wednesday, Friday). I go running in a park near our apartment, and when I got there there was a guy dressed in all black riding a bike. I turned into the park, and he slowly turned into the park, then he slowly started following me on his bike... that freaked me out so I ran somewhere else... and I think I'm going to go running a little bit later than 6. When I got home I made cookies and brownies because Daniel and I were doing a presentation in our Shakespeare class and I wanted to bring food to make everyone like us more and give us better grades :p Daniel left for school at 840, and I left for school at 10 (I had to let the treats cool, and do my hair). Today was the first day in two months that a straightener has touched my hair.

My 21 year old self

I had class from 12- 4. Daniel and I have our Shakespeare class from 2-4. Our presentation in class was actually performing an act out of the play "Midsummer Night's Dream". We were in a group with one other guy (luckily he's married, or it would have been awkward for him :p). We were given less than a week to read the whole play, choose a scene, memorize all our lines, practice, and find costumes and props. But we did it :) So we performed at the begining of class, and we dressed up as pirates because we were supposed to resite Shakespeare's words with our own twist. We also changed the ending of the scene a little bit to make it shorter and funnier. I made 15 cookies and 18 brownies for a class of 18 people... they were all gone by the end of class... they were good :)

When we were leaving class (we have class in the basement of the JFSB) for some reason Daniel decided that he wanted to ride up in the elevator with our teacher.... we usually walk... it was kind of weird... luckilly it was only for one floor, and we have a cool teacher :)
I had to carry around a lot of stuff at school because of our school presentation
When we got home we changed (i wanted to look a little nicer) and went to Olive Garden for my birthday dinner. We totally splirged and got drinks and a desert... I was SO full! Now comes the funny part: Right after we got our meal another group was seated at a table near us... it was our Shakespeare teacher! haha! what are the chances?? Then later another couple was seated near us (we didn't know them, but we did get to talk to them). When we were paying for our meal about to leave our waiter wished me a happy birthday, and the couple that we didn't know turned around and said "it's your birthday? Lets all sing to you" so everyone, including our Shakespeare professor sang to me for my birthday :)

Then we went over to ShopKo to buy me a necklace. That's the only thing I wanted for my birthday because Daniel had already bought me a ring (engagement), a bracelet for my birthday, and earrings for fun, so i wanted a necklace to go with them. When we entered the store we passed by one of those machines where you put in 50 cents and you can try to get a prix out with the claw. Well every time we pass those Daniel says he wants to try it, so this time we figured, hey, why not? it's my birthday! So we did! and after 3 trys ($1.50) we got a minion from the movie Dispicable me, and after two more trys ($1.00) we got a weird looking Garfield!
When we were leaving we decided we wanted to try to get a turtle and a packman in the machine... after $5 we didn't get either of them, but we have decided that if either of them are there next time we go, and we have some change, we'll try for them again. It was SO fun! :)
Winning our prizes
Now about the necklace, I was thinking something simple like you could get at clairs, but he bought me the most beautiful necklace I have ever owned!! I love it (and thank goodness it was on sale!)!
The Beautiful Necklace

In the evening once we were home and settled down a couple of guys came over doing a service scavanger hunt for FHE (for those of you who don't know what that is, you just go around looking for different kinds of service you can do for other people) so they took our really stinky garbage out (it had moldy bread in it).
