Happy 4th of July!
Today was a great day!
All night people were running around setting off fireworks and just making lots of noise, so it was pretty hard to sleep because our room smelled like smoke and we couldn't shut the windows because that was our only source of cool air (the plug in our room blew out, so we can't have an air conditioner in our room). So it took us a while to fall asleep. Then at 6:30 in the morning a couple of guys ran down the street screaming and it woke me up, and I was wide awake! surprise surprise family, but I'm slowly becoming a morning person! I don't sleep in past 7 in the morning any more! (usually I slept in til about 10). So I woke up and was productive.
I went to the pre- parade parade. It was pretty cool although I only saw part of it. Daniel woke up just in time for the real parade. Then Kayla joined us :) After the parade we had a pancake breakfast at our apartment with Kayla and watched a movie.

That evening Daniel had to work :( So I went over to Shelly's house (Daniel's oldest sister) and joined them for fireworks :)
