Daniel and I went to the Freeman Family Reunion at the end of June. The reunion was up at Hyrum Lake, which is near Logan, Utah. I was 29.5 weeks pregnant, and this was a camping reunion. Everyone was skeptical that I'd be able to handle the camping, but I did just fine :) 8 siblings were at the reunion, so about 2/3 of the family... Even though I've been in this family for 3 years, it still amazes me that 8 is only 2/3 of the family! Marilyn (Daniel's mom) wasn't at the reunion because Amber (the youngest sibling) just had her first baby a few days before the reunion, so Marilyn was in Ohio helping Amber with the baby.
The reunion was just so fun! All day Friday we had canoes, inner tubes, paddle boards and more fun water things rented out for the whole day. I took a kayak out for a little bit, and that was perfect for me. Other than that I played with one of the baby nephews at the edge of the water, and I sat in the shade and talked. It was a perfect, relaxing reunion. Daniel went out on paddle boards with some of the older nephews and had fun exploring and getting really dirty :p
It was a great reunion, and we loved getting together with the family.
