Daniel and I took a week long trip down to Peoria, AZ, which is just west of Phoenix. We visited Daniel's brother, Bill, and Bill's family. While we were there Daniel spent his time shadowing Bill, and a few other people that Bill set up for Daniel to observe. Daniel has been considering taking a different career path than Physical Therapy, and we went to Arizona to explore other options. While Daniel spent his time working, I spent my time swimming in Bill's pool, shopping with Mindy (Bill's wife), eating, playing games, and relaxing. It was a fun vacation for me, and an informative vacation for Daniel, but he also got to have some fun :)
We celebrated our 3rd anniversary while we were in AZ. Bill and Mindy took us out to a wonderful restaurant. Bill called ahead and told the restaurant that it was our anniversary, and the restaurant put rose petals and hearts on our table, gave us a happy anniversary card, and gave us complementary dessert. The food was so delicious! I got chicken cooked in duck fat, and Daniel got crab. We were both so impressed with our food. The dessert was the same: Amazing! Daniel got creme brulee, and I got cheesecake. Again, yummy!
